President Lincoln’s cottage

Located on a picturesque hilltop on the grounds of the historic Soldiers’ Home in Northwest Washington, DC, this venue offers a unique and historic setting for special events. This home was used by the Lincoln family during the Civil War, and was the setting for many entertainment events during the period that President Lincoln was writing the Emancipation Proclamation.
