Venue Spotlight – Montpelier Farms

We had the pleasure of working at a new picnic venue last month and had so much fun we had to share their information with everyone!

Montpelier Farms is located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on a sprawling 125 acres that has been working farmland since 1673, when it was purchased by James Moore of England. The current owners, the Dunn’s, opened the farm in 2008 as an attraction- offering hayrides, pumpkin patch and a corn maze. Since 2008, the farm has added many additions and has year-round options for activities!

The Fall Festival is a full-blown event, with everything from s’mores and candied apples to hayrides, kids’ games, mini Pumpkin Chunkin’, farm animals, Giant Pumpkin Pad, face painting and more!

The pavilion on the farm offers a perfect location for small or large picnic events. Company picnics, barbecues, weddings; and all events also have access to attractions at the farm- animals, games, pedal kart tracks and kids play area. They offer several smaller campfire circles available for rentals. Such a fun venue, we had a blast catering the picnic last month, and we can’t wait to go back! Consider them for your next event!
