Hosting Your Event at Rocklands Farm & Winery

1001 Angles

Rocklands Farm Winery is a favorite for weddings. The venue has multiple locations for unique events and photo opportunities, including sunflower fields, the May pole lights over the Silo Lawn and the historic barn, perfect for dining and dancing. The variety of locations allow it to be the perfect venue for events of 30 to 120.

Whether you envision an intimate gathering in the garden, a grand celebration in the historic barn, or a festive evening under the May pole lights, Rocklands can accommodate your vision. Below, you will see two examples of different styles of weddings hosted at Rocklands:

First: this small, intimate wedding of 40 started with a special ceremony in the garden, followed by a multi-course seated dinner in the barn at a communal farm table. The evening ended with dancing and mingling, again using the barn spaces for a dance floor and lounge areas.

This next wedding had 100 guests, with the ceremony on the lawn behind the historic Stone Manor, followed by cocktails in the backyard of the Stone Manor. The Manor makes a beautiful backdrop for photos! After cocktails, guests were invited to the Silo Lawn for dinner and dancing the night away in the barn.

What kind of food do you serve for a fun, outdoor barn wedding? Anything you’d like – from poke bowls to a mac & cheese action station. Passed appetizers allow your guests to mingle since they don’t have to wait in long lines for stations appetizers. This duo of blinis, one with salmon and one with carrot for your vegetarian guest, are eye catching options that will please a wide variety of people.

At Rocklands Farm Winery, Anna grows the flowers used in their bouquets and installations, reducing waste and keeping your event green (both literally and figuratively!) She will work with you to build stunning displays to highlight the farm’s assets and leave your guests with feeling of being truly surrounded by nature.
